Universally considered one of the most intense and evocative voices in the Italian music scene, Antonella Ruggiero has shown over the years her curiosity by experimenting with different sound and artistic forms, all of which are captured in this concert. Empatía is a journey through the most beloved songs of Matia Bazar by Ruggiero and a tribute to the historic pieces of Italian songwriters, from Fabrizio De André to PFM, including Mario Venuti. The ensemble also presents some tracks from the album of the same name, recorded for an event dedicated to volunteering, a special concert by the artist held in the marvelous Basilica of Saint Anthony in Padua on February 8, 2020, for the inauguration of Padua as the European Capital of Volunteering 2020.
